“Within recent years, as the educational process got generally intensified in secondary education institutions and has continually transferred to a distance format, a tendency can be seen to reduce the level of health and physical fitness of young students. This fact encourages the search for new educational and upbringing technologies, the introduction of non-traditional forms and methods of teaching and education in secondary school. This resonates with the NUS Concept with the underlying formula of a "new content of education based on the formation of competencies needed for successful self-realisation in society"”, the compiler and team leader of the manual said, Doctor of Education, Professor, Head of Physical Education and Recreation Department Natalia Belikova.
