Deans, deputy deans and heads of departments of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University embarked on a three-day training course "Fundamentals of the quality management system according to the international standard ISO 9001: 2015".
The course for 15 participants consisted of lectures by Leonid Diuzhaiev, a lecturer and lead auditor of “Bureau Veritas Certification”, discussions, exercises, practical classes and an exam.
The goals and objectives of ISO 9001 standards and underlying principles of quality management system, as well as the purpose and relationship of ISO 9000 series standards were explained to the trainees, the standards requirements in the context of audit, auditor’s role and responsibilities under ISO 9011 were defined.
The preparation of a report on the results of the audit and obtaining objective evidence through the documented information study, interviews, observations, sampling and record keeping were discussed by the participants of the training course.
The normative references, terms, definitions and additional instructions for auditors on the planning and implementation of the audit were also dwelled on by the instructor.
