On Thursday, June 2, in one of the Lutsk cafes, the newly elected representatives of the student self-government of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University talked to the Rector Anatolii Tsios in a relaxing atmosphere. The meeting was also attended by the Vice-Rector for Educational Work and Communication Natalia Blahovirna and Vasyl Zakreva, Assistant Head of the Department of Youth Policy and Social Work.
The topicality of student activities was raised. The Rector stressed that the student council’s work is to ensure communication between the young people and the administration, to help implement interesting projects and, of course, to create a favourable learning space.
Anatolii Tsios also added that living in war conditions, the University is multilateral towards the state defence: there are mobilised workers defending Ukraine at the front, the student volunteer movement is very self-organised, each faculty tries to benefit our country and accelerate the victory.
The importance of open dialogue between the students, the faculty or University management was reiterated during the coffee ceremony. The immediate cooperation fulfilment between the faculties was discussed, as well as joint activities with public organisations and foreign higher education institutions.
The aligned work of the student council is a quality promotion for the University helping to make it simply the best.
