The interaction between Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University and the AES Alsace association is a vivid example of fruitful cooperation in various directions. For many years in a row, AES Alsace provided the opportunity for Ukrainian students and teachers to make cultural and educational trips to France, helped organize classes, round tables, master classes by native speakers, supported the department of Romance philology in the methodology of teaching French, provided equipment, literature, educational materials, etc.
Our French partners did not stand aside when the war started in Ukraine. AES Alsace, led by its president Alain Armand, handed over aid to Volyn National University, which included food, two wheelchairs, sleeping bags, hygiene products. Also, the representatives of the humanitarian association collected and handed over one thousand euros to our university.

We report that we have transferred part of the aid to Ukrainian Heroes on the front lines. The Rector of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University Anatolii Tsos presented the items to the soldiers at the points of execution of combat missions. Three binoculars were purchased for the Ukrainian military with the transferred funds.

In addition, part of the aid from our French partners was handed over to the displaced people living in the dormitories of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University. We thank the French humanitarian association AES Alsace, its president, Alain Armand, for their concern, help and support in such a difficult time for our country.
