A meeting was held between the government of the Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University and the Volyn Regional Directorate Branch of the National Public Television and Radio Company of Ukraine.
The University was represented by the Rector Anatolii Tsios and the Vice Rector for Educational Work and Communication Nataliia Blahovirna. The TV officials were represented by the Branch Producer Kostiantyn Lotsman and the manager Liudmila Hetmanchuk.

The parties overviewed the trends of modern journalism and the prospects of television in particular. It was obvious that the future is definitely leading broadcasters to the digital version and the immediate information format.

Nataliia Blahovirna shared details with the media representatives about the educational programmes studied by future journalists at the Faculty of Philology and Journalism, and underlined the high employment of graduates.

“Our cooperation is certain to bring about positive implications,” the Rector of the University Anatolii Tsios said. “The excellent faculty we have is provided with professionals training qualified specialists in the field of journalism, publishing, PR, press services, and SMM.”

“The cooperation is already in action. So now, so to speak, we are to legitimise our relationship,” Kostiantyn Lotsman beamed. “Our cooperation is already unique, as Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University is the first institution of higher education to sign a memorandum with the “Suspilne” (Public) television.

In conclusion, the parties signed a memorandum and arranged holding and media coverage of a number of venues, training and internships for students, and organisation of the documentary series presentation "Ukrainian Partisan Movement in Volyn."
