Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University and Volyn Chornobyl Union of People with Disabilities are now partners.
The relevant cooperation agreement was signed by the Rector of our higher education institution Anatolii Tsios and the head of the mentioned non-governmental organisation Rostyslav Kukhtei.
The partnership purpose is to unite efforts in training higher education students under the educational and professional programme "State Security", promoting their development and professional self-determination by project engagement and research activities in the field of state and environmental security and enlightening education. The parties also agreed on the students’ participation in regional, national, international training and research programmes, scientific and practical conferences, seminars, colloquia, congresses and competitions. Another terms of agreement were: the provision of methodological assistance to various categories of teachers in the organisation of educational and educational work with student youth. Anatolii Tsios, in particular, noted: “The national and state security issues are extremely pivotal. Because specialists must really assess the situation, forecast and plan their actions in advance. We have scientific and pedagogical staff, active students, that is, a lot of people wanting to be engaged in the field of security. That's why we are so glad that you reached out. "
In his turn, Rostislav Kukhtei underlined that signing a cooperation agreement with a higher education institution is an unprecedented moment in the organisation’s history. And this is Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University, which has become an example for the entire country. So now there is much to be envied by colleagues from other areas.
