Six students of the Faculty of Geography and the Faculty of Pedagogical Education and Social Work who were doing their bachelor degrees at Ian Dlugosh University in Chenstohova under The Double Diploma Program received their diplomas at the ceremony held in Volyn National University.
The Double Diploma Program was launched in 2015. During these years due to the work of the teaching staff the number of specialties in the program has been constantly increasing.
The ceremony was attended by Anatolii Tsos, Rector of the University, Larysa Zasiekina, Vice-Rector for Research and International Affairs, Yurii Barsky, Dean of the Faculty of Geography, Volodymyr Antoniuk, Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogical Education and Social Work, Iryna Yerko and Svitlana Cherneta, program coordinators at the faculties.
In his speech Rector Anatolii Tsos remarked that The Double Diploma Program is one of the best competitive advantages of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University. Anatolii Vasyliovych also thanked Vice-Rector Larysa Zasiekina, Head of the International Affairs Department Vladyslav Kolomechiuk, deans, program coordinators for the very important both for students and for the University work of high quality.
“I sincerely congratulate our students on the end of their study. Thank you for your daring to participate in this program and use the chance given to you. Generally, it is very important to use chances in your lives timely. May success attend you and may you use all chances given to you for the benefit of the state, your family and yourself”, the Rector said to the students.
Larysa Zasiekina, Vice-Rector for Research and International Affairs, also congratulated students and remarked that it is very important to have a number of diplomas, in particular, the ones of foreign universities. “It gives you freedom. Now, not you will be chosen, but you yourself will choose where to work. And it is crucial in order to have a good life”, said Larysa Volodymyrivna and asked students to remember their University and proudly keep the status of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University graduates.
The Deans of the faculties and program coordinators congratulated the graduates and wished them success in their lives.
In particular, Yurii Barsky conveyed greetings from Polish lecturers and remarked that Polish colleagues constantly praised the students from Volyn. “You have achieved a high level, so now I wish you to skillfully use it for your own benefit”, said the Dean of the Faculty of Geography.
Afterwards, the Rector awarded the students Kateryna Verba, Andrii Ivanychko, Ivanna Moroz (specialty “Social work”), Tetiana Romaniuk, Victoria Kozachuk, Oksana Demydiuk (specialty “Tourism”) with their diplomas.
