In order to provide quality training and adaptation of theoretical knowledge to the implementation of practical skills in students, a memorandum of cooperation between Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University and the “Lutskteplo” state municipal enterprise was signed on February 11.
During the meeting, the parties managed to discuss a number of important issues concerned with the combination of educational and professional competencies of all participants in the cooperation agreement.
Ivan Skorupskyi, Head of the “Lutskteplo”, emphasized among the large staff of the company, most are pre-retirement workers, which, in turn, raises the issue of involving students in the production processes with a prospect of their further employment.
Skorupskyi also talked about the large number of modernization processes taking place at the enterprise, which was made possible by attracting a significant amount of investment support from the CzechRepublic. This fact also provides for an innovative model of enterprise development, where the keyrole will be played by the younger generation.
Rector Anatolii Tsios praised the prospects of further cooperation and presented numerous achievements of the University staff.
Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management Tetiana Danyliuk, heads of departments professors Olena and Kostiantyn Pavlov emphasized the importance of the dual format of the educational process, which involves students and graduate students in the processes of implementation of research findings into practical tasks.
At the end of the meeting, Rector Anatolii Tsios invited Ivan Skorupskyi to join the board of stakeholders of the University’s educational professional and scientific programs "Analytical Economics", "Economics of Industrial Markets", "Business Economics", "Marketing", "Entrepreneurship, Trade and Stock Exchange".
