The lecturers of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University prepare stewed meat for the defenders of Ukraine. Oleh and Tamara Duchyminski decided to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the fight against the invading forces of the russian federation.
The trainer lecturer of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Sports and Health Oleh Duchyminskyi and Dean of the Faculty of Psychology Tamara Duchyminska are actively involved in volunteering. At first, the couple formed energy packages for the Ukrainian militaryby collecting packages of home-made dried apples, nuts, buying raisins and sunflower seeds.
According to Tamara Ivanivna, their family started volunteering as soon as the war started. At first, Oleh Duchyminskyi helped transport various loads for volunteers using his own car. "In the current conditions, any activity has a calming effect, because a person does not focus on the news or worry," says Tamara Duchyminska.
Later, the family of lecturers came up with the idea of preparing meat delicacies for military personnel. "At first we decided to stock up for our family. One batch of stewed meat was prepared and then they decided to try to make the same canned meat for the needs of the military," says Dean of the Faculty of Psychology.

The Duchiminskyis’ friends also contributed by making stewed meat, so now the delicacy is cooked in two autoclaves. "Our initiative was also supported by the employees of the Faculty of Psychology, all academics contributed materially. We are actively working collecting cans, buying lids, meat, borrowing a second autoclave. My husband and friends and I cook," explains Tamara Duchyminska. 70 cans of stewed meat can be jointly made per day. In general, the spouses of lecturers have been engaged in such a new type of activity for about two weeks. The finished products are sent for the fighters to the Kyiv region, the town of Makariv.

It is worth noting that stewed chicken from the teachers of Lesya’s University is not only tasty, but also has a presentable appearance due to original patriotic labels. "Recently, our friends from the printing company "Teneta" expressed a desire to join and developed the design of various patriotic stickers," says Tamara Ivanivna. Oleh Duchyminskyi said that stewed meat is the best for the militaries, because it does not take much time to cook: "In fact, it is ready-made food. Just add some porridge and that's it. The guys who received our stewed meat say: "This is it!" Therefore, we will not stop."

"Hopefully, our small contribution will make change for the people," concluded Tamara Duchyminska. For your attention, here are several original patriotic stickers on stews from the Duchyminskyis family.
