A cooperation agreement on the implementation of elements of the dual form of education with the Lingua House language school was signed at Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University.
The tripartite agreement was signed by the Rector Anatolii Tsios, the Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Philology Larysa Makaruk, the Associate Professor of German Philology Oksana Belykh, the Head of Lingua House Mariana Salivonchyk, students and teachers of the Faculty.
At the meeting’s opening, the Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Philology Larysa Makaruk noted a well-established cooperation with the Lingua House language school, headed by a University graduate. For its development, it was decided by both sides to introduce elements of the dual form of education for students of the educational programme "Secondary Education. The German language".
"We have chosen progressive, promising students and we want them to have a platform for real work and to realise from the first year how important is not only theoretical knowledge but also its practical implementation," Larysa Makaruk emphasised.
The Rector noted that the introduction of elements of dual education is a very good form of education, so it is extremely positive that the faculty is implementing it: “Under this educational programme, good academic mobility and cooperation with German partners are provided. The dual form of education is a huge step towards improving the quality of education. "
Maryana Salivonchyk told about her language school and noted that the Lingua House staff mostly consists of the Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University graduates. "Therefore, we will be glad to see the students of our University to demonstrate them hands-on education, to analyse certain situations and their solutions" Maryana Salivonchyk said.
