The meeting with the representatives of Volyn Center of Ukrainian Christian Writers Union took place in the library of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University. The poets Dmytro Dovbush, Viktor Grebeniuk and Vasyl Martyniuk communicated with the audience in one of the halls of the university library.
At the beginning of the meeting, Viktor Grebeniuk told the audience about the Volyn Center of Ukrainian Christian Writers Union and its members. Mr. Victor emphasized that the Volyn Center is famous for its own almanac “Osonnya”.
Then, the methodologist of the university library, Svitlana Kresak, called the youngest of the guests, the writer Dmytro Dovbush. He read some of his own poems, which were written after the beginning of the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine.
Olga Kalashinska, who wrote music to Dmytro Dovbush's poem “Soldier”, also spoke. Therefore, the performance of the song took place at the event.
Vasyl Martyniuk also read his own poems. His lyrics is riddled with of childhood period, love for his native land and parents.
After that, Viktor Grebenyuk introduced his work to the audience. The writer read his own short stories about modern and past war and human relations as well.
