On January 21, a festivity took place at Lesya Ukrainka’s University – diplomas were awarded to Master’s degree graduates of Faculty of Information Technology and Mathematics, Faculty of Physical Education, Sports and Health, and Faculty of International Relations. The ceremony was dubbed “From Master's to Professor's Regalia”.
The graduates were greeted by Rector Anatolii Tsios, deans, lecturers, friends and parents, as well as the honoured guests, in particular, Professor and Doctor of Philology Iryna Konstankevych, the member of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine; Iryna Chebeliuk, Deputy Chairman of the Lutsk City Council; Volodymyr Zakhozhyi, Head of the Department of Youth and Sports of Lutsk City Council; and Viktor Levandovskiy, Head of Internet Devels IT Company and the member of the Supervisory Board of Lesya Ukrainka University..


This year, as many as 939 graduates received Master's degree from Volyn’s largest university.
Rector Anatolii Tsios was the first to address the Masters with a congratulatory speech: “Dear Masters, our graduates! First of all, congratulations on graduating from the glorious Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University. You are graduating from a university with an 80-year-old history. You are graduating from the university preserving and multiplying the best educational traditions. You are graduating from the university based on the quality of education. And the recognition in the European Council we have now really shows that we offer a quality education. A Volyn National University diploma is a reliable foundation for future professional activity and successful personal development. Afterwards, everything depends on you, your activeness, and self-education. Do your job honestly, and what is yours, will come to you. Remember these words, for they are absolutely true. The results you achieve only depend on your active participation. I sincerely wish you good luck, health, and a happy life. May you forever remember and love Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University”.

The People's Deputy of Ukraine Iryna Konstankevych wished the graduates to become the next golden pages in our alma mater’s history: “A book called “The Golden Pages of Lesya Ukrainka University: Alumni” has been published. It contains information about our successful, outstanding, and reputable graduates. To be in the pantheon of the best and not to forget your alma mater is what I wish our today’s graduates. We want our students to set high and ambitious goals, choose right vectors and always be the best of the best, just like our Volyn University”. In addition, Iryna Konstankevych sent sincere congratulations from the People's Deputy of Ukraine from the “Za Maibutnie” (“For the Future”) Party and the Chairman of the Supervisory Board Ihor Palytsia, also a graduate of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University.


“We are extremely happy to have such a wonderful university in Lutsk. I am grateful to the teaching staff for their high professionalism, for training real specialists, masters of their craft. I know for sure that the student’s path is far from being easy. However, you have skillfully coped with everything and already gone through an important stage of your life. I wish you a pleasant and easy journey, but be prepared for all the trials of life. Let the acquired knowledge become the basis for new skills and abilities. I wish you a successful implementation of what you have learned”, said the Deputy Mayor Iryna Chebeliuk, and passed the most sincere congratulations from the Mayor Igor Polishchuk.


In the end, the hosts of the event addressed the guests and on behalf of today’s graduates expressed their sincere gratitude to the teaching staff of Lesya Ukrainka University, committed to pass on their knowledge, share life experiences, and help to develop the best human qualities. They wished the graduates felicity, good health, self-confidence, bold plans and fulfillment of dreams.
