Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University and Die Evangelische Hochschule Berlin have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. This Memorandum is a component of the EHB program as a part of investment in the program “Digital Ukraine” (German Academic Exchange Service) to support the online educational platforms in Ukrainian universities during the war.
The Rector of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University, Professor Anatoly Tsos, signed the memorandum on May 25, and the Rector of Die Evangelische Hochschule Berlin, Professor Dr. Sebastian Schröer-Werner signed it on June 8 in Berlin.
The memorandum is a basement for subject scientific and technical cooperation between EHB and Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University. Its purpose is the implementation of exchange experience as well as the professional mobility between teachers and students of these universities. Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University is one of the three partners of Die Evangelische Hochschule Berlin for cooperation in Ukraine. Die Evangelische Hochschule Berlin applied to the DAAD under the “Digital Ukraine” funding program. The aim of this program is generation funds for the development of electronic learning platforms despite the war.
Rector Anatoly Tsos remarked: “Cooperation with Die Evangelische Hochschule Berlin is extremely important for our University, especially in wartime conditions. We appreciate the support of our partners and are sincerely grateful to the Rector, Dr. Sebastian Schröer-Werner as well as to the project coordinator Alla Koval. I note with pleasure that the professor of EHB, Dr. Alla Koval is a graduate of our University. She has made the connection with her alma mater and now is responsible for the concept and design of digital learning. I am sure that this project will be successful.”
