Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University has signed a cooperation agreement with the football club “Volyn”. The event took place on December, 2 in the conference hall.
The participants of the meeting were the rector Anatolii Tsos, the dean of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Sports and Health Vasyl Pantik, the general director of the FC “Volyn” Yevheniya Zhukhovytska, the head coach of the club Vasyl Sachko, the director of the Children’s and Youth Football School Oleksandr Stadnytskyi.
The rector Anatolii Tsos said that there had been good cooperation between the higher education institution and the FC “Volyn” for a long time. Many players and ex-players of “Volyn” study at our University. We hope to intensify collaboration and cooperation with younger teams. Besides, we are very interested in the development of women's football”, said Anatolii Vasylovych.
In addition to the above mentioned, the signed agreement presupposes the joint use of material and technical base, sites, joint scientific work and cooperation in other areas. "The agreements themselves are worthless. It is important to implement them," said the rector.
