On December 28, a pre-New Year basketball exhibition match took place in the sports complex of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University. The event was organized by the representatives of the Basketball Club “Stary Lutsk–University”.
Representatives of the University headed by Rector Anatolii Tsos and Dean of the Institute of Physical Education and Health Vasyl Pantik took part in the match. President of BC “Stary Lutsk–University” Oleksii Melnyk, head coach Volodymyr Zhurzhi, club players, representatives of the authorities, etc. also participated in the competition.
At the beginning of the match Anatolii Tsos, rector of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University, took the floor. He thanked the basketball players for the organization of the event and congratulated the audience on the upcoming holidays. “I am very thankful to the club for such an initiative, for promotion of sport and healthy life style”, said the Rector.
The match took place in a friendly atmosphere and, above all, without injuries. The participants showed their skills of playing basketball trying not only to complete the attacks effectively, but to make it as bright as possible. The action ended with a group photo taken.
