Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University has collected aid for our Heroes who are defending Ukraine’s independence.
Medicines and essentials, a part of which was purchased and manufactured by Lesya’s community, were transferred to the frontline by the 14th Separate Mechanised Brigade named after Prince Roman the Great.
The Rector of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University Anatolii Tsios and Deputy Mayor of Volodymyr Yaroslav Matviichuk provided assistance to the Brigade Commander, Colonel Oleksandr Okhrimenko in one of the frontline settlements.
On behalf of the University staff, he thanked the defenders of Ukraine from Volyn brigade for their bravery and assured the audience that the staff and students of the higher education institution will continue to help the Heroes.
n addition, the Rector and the Brigade Commander discussed further cooperation, to be formalised soon. In particular, it deals with training servicemen and members of their families.
